Chemical Characteristics
-
Molecular Structure: Ionic inorganic salt composed of sodium cation and bicarbonate anion
-
Core Functional Mechanism: Mild industrial inorganic alkali, with acid neutralization and gas release properties; stable under normal temperature dry environment; thermal decomposition produces CO? for foaming applications; neutralizes acidic wastewater and acidic exhaust gas
-
Photostability: Stable under light irradiation, no discoloration
-
Thermal Stability: Gradually decomposes at temperature over 50℃; complete decomposition at 270℃ to form sodium carbonate
-
Chemical Compatibility: Compatible with neutral inorganic salts; incompatible with strong acids, calcium/magnesium ions, strong alkaline substances

5. Storage Condition
Seal tightly, store in dry, cool and ventilated warehouse below 30℃; isolate from acid products and humid air.
-
Transportation Note: Prevent rain and moisture during transit; avoid mixing with acid chemicals; stack away from direct sunlight
-
Shelf Life: 24 months under intact sealed dry storage
6. Safety Warning
Mild irritant inorganic alkaline powder. Dust inhalation irritates throat and respiratory tract; long-term skin contact may cause dry skin and slight irritation; eye contact will trigger stinging discomfort. Thermal decomposition releases carbon dioxide.
Operate in well-ventilated workshop with dust mask, safety goggles and rubber gloves. Avoid mixing with strong acid to prevent violent foaming splashing. Waste materials can be neutralized with dilute acid before discharge according to local environmental regulations.
