Applications
This compound is a multifunctional substituted benzoate intermediate containing amino, bromo and ester groups on benzene ring, with high reactivity for substitution, condensation and cross-coupling reactions. It is widely used in organic synthesis as a key building block for Suzuki, Buchwald-Hartwig and Sonogashira coupling reactions to construct complex aromatic and heterocyclic skeletons. In pharmaceutical industry, it is extensively applied for the synthesis of anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral drug intermediates, as well as kinase inhibitors and small molecule targeted drugs.
In agrochemicals, it is used for developing high-efficiency fungicides, herbicides and pesticide intermediates with stable biological activity. It also serves as an important raw material for fine chemicals, dye intermediates and organic optoelectronic materials, commonly used in laboratory synthetic methodology research and customized compound synthesis.
Safety Information
This material is irritating to skin, eyes and respiratory tract. Direct skin contact may cause redness, itching and mild inflammatory reaction; long-term repeated exposure may induce skin sensitization and allergy. Eye contact can lead to severe irritation, conjunctival congestion and tearing, requiring immediate thorough rinsing with plenty of water. Inhalation of dust will stimulate respiratory mucosa, causing throat discomfort, cough and bronchial irritation, especially for sensitive groups. Accidental ingestion may cause mild gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea and abdominal discomfort.
It has potential harm to aquatic organisms and should not be discharged into water environment directly. During handling, operate in a ventilated fume hood, wear nitrile gloves, chemical goggles and dust mask. Keep away from strong oxidants, strong acids and high temperature. Store sealed and dry, avoid light and moisture. Waste and packaging must be disposed following local chemical waste regulations to prevent environmental pollution and health risks.
