Applications
This product is a high-performance fluorinated aromatic nitrile intermediate, containing chloro, trifluoromethyl and cyano functional groups on benzene ring, with excellent chemical stability and high reaction activity. It can participate in hydrolysis, reduction, cyclization and Suzuki cross-coupling reactions, widely used to construct complex fluorine-substituted aromatic and heterocyclic skeletons. Fluorine substitution endows the molecule with good lipophilicity, metabolic stability and biological activity, making it irreplaceable in pharmaceutical and agrochemical synthesis.
In pharmaceutical industry, it is a key building block for anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and central nervous system drug intermediates, also used in the preparation of kinase inhibitors and small molecule targeted drugs. In agrochemical field, it is applied to synthesize high-efficiency, low-toxicity herbicides, fungicides and insecticide intermediates. It is also widely used in organic optoelectronic materials, liquid crystal monomers, dye and fine chemical custom synthesis, as well as laboratory organic synthetic methodology research.
Safety Information
This compound is irritating to skin, eyes and respiratory tract. Direct skin contact may cause redness, itching and mild inflammatory reaction; long-term repeated exposure may induce skin sensitization and allergic dermatitis. Eye contact will cause severe stinging, conjunctival congestion and tearing, which needs immediate and thorough rinsing with plenty of running water. Inhalation of dust or vapor can irritate nasal and bronchial mucosa, causing throat dryness, cough and chest discomfort, especially unfavorable to people with respiratory allergies. Accidental ingestion may cause nausea, abdominal pain and other mild gastrointestinal symptoms.
It has certain biological toxicity to aquatic organisms and is strictly prohibited from direct discharge into water bodies, sewage and soil environment. During handling, operate in a well-ventilated fume hood, wear nitrile protective gloves, chemical safety goggles and dust mask. Keep away from high temperature, open flame and strong oxidizing substances. Store hermetically in dry, cool and dark environment. Waste residues and empty packaging must be disposed in accordance with hazardous chemical waste regulations to avoid environmental pollution and potential health risks.
