Applications
4-Methylpyridine is a classic pyridine heterocyclic fine chemical intermediate. It can undergo oxidation, amination, substitution and condensation reactions, widely used for synthesizing various substituted pyridine derivatives.
It is mainly used as raw material for pharmaceutical intermediates, agrochemical fungicides, herbicides and insecticide intermediates. Also applied in the production of feed additives, dye intermediates, resin curing agents, chemical analytical reagents and organic synthesis solvents.
