Applications
2-Chloro-5-(trifluoromethyl)pyridine is an important fluorinated chloropyridine heterocyclic intermediate. It features high chemical activity and can undergo nucleophilic substitution, Suzuki coupling, Buchwald amination and condensation reactions.
Widely used as molecular building block for antitumor, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and central nervous system drug intermediates, kinase inhibitors and small-molecule targeted drugs. Also used as key intermediate for agrochemical fungicides, herbicides, organic optoelectronic materials and customized fine chemical synthesis.
Safety Information
