Applications
2,6-Dichloronicotinic acid is an important dichloropyridine carboxylic acid intermediate. It can undergo esterification, amidation, decarboxylation and nucleophilic substitution reactions.
Widely used as building block for pharmaceutical intermediates, anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and central nervous system drugs; also key intermediate for agrochemical herbicides, fungicides, organic synthetic raw materials and fine chemical customization.

Irritating to skin, eyes and respiratory tract. Skin contact may cause redness and itching; dust into eyes causes stinging and congestion, rinse immediately with plenty of running water.
