Applications
2-Amino-5-methylpyridine is a key pyridine heterocyclic intermediate. It can undergo diazotization, nucleophilic substitution, condensation and Suzuki/Buchwald coupling reactions.
Widely used as building blocks for pharmaceutical intermediates, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, central nervous system drugs and kinase inhibitors; also used in agrochemical fungicides, herbicides, dye intermediates and fine chemical synthesis.
Safety Information
