Applications
2-Amino-3-methylpyridine is an important pyridine heterocyclic intermediate. It can undergo diazotization, nucleophilic substitution, condensation and cross-coupling reactions.
Widely used as building blocks for pharmaceutical intermediates, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and central nervous system drugs, as well as kinase inhibitor fragments. Also applied in agrochemical fungicides, herbicides, dye intermediates and fine chemical synthesis.
