Applications
2-Chloro-4-methylpyridine is a key halogenated pyridine intermediate.
It can undergo nucleophilic substitution, Suzuki coupling, Buchwald amination and condensation reactions.
Widely used as building block for pharmaceutical intermediates, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, central nervous system drugs and small-molecule targeted drugs; also applied in agrochemical fungicides, herbicides and fine chemical synthesis.
