Applications
Methyl 2-amino-5-bromobenzoate is a highly valuable substituted benzoate aromatic intermediate containing amino and bromo functional groups. It can undergo diazotization, nucleophilic substitution, Suzuki coupling, amidation and ester hydrolysis reactions, widely used as key building block for pharmaceutical intermediates, antitumor drugs, anti-inflammatory analgesics and central nervous system targeted small molecule compounds. It is also commonly applied in the synthesis of new pesticide fungicides, herbicides and fine chemical raw materials, as well as in organic synthesis research and medicinal chemistry structure optimization.
Safety Information
Irritating to skin, eyes and respiratory tract. Inhalation of dust may cause throat discomfort and cough; direct eye contact leads to stinging, redness and congestion. Avoid long-term skin contact and dust inhalation. All operations should be carried out in a fume hood with nitrile gloves, safety goggles and dust protective mask. Keep away from high temperature, open flame and strong oxidants. Store sealed away from light and moisture. Waste materials should be treated and disposed strictly in accordance with hazardous chemical environmental regulations to prevent pollution to water and soil.
