Applications
2-Amino-4-bromo-5-methylpyridine is a functional substituted pyridine heterocyclic intermediate containing amino, bromo and methyl groups on the pyridine ring. It has high synthetic activity and can be used for nucleophilic substitution, Suzuki coupling, Buchwald amination and diazotization reactions. It is widely applied as key building block for antitumor, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and central nervous system drug intermediates, kinase inhibitor fragments and small molecule targeted drug synthesis. It is also commonly used in custom fine chemical synthesis, medicinal chemistry structure optimization and new pesticide molecular research and development.
Safety Information
Irritating to skin, eyes and respiratory tract. Inhalation of dust may cause throat discomfort, dry cough and respiratory irritation; direct eye contact will lead to stinging, redness and conjunctival congestion. Avoid dust inhalation, skin adhesion and eye contact. All experimental and handling operations should be carried out in a fume hood, equipped with nitrile protective gloves, chemical safety goggles and dust mask. Keep away from high temperature, open flame and strong oxidizing substances. Store sealed in dry and dark condition, strictly isolate from acidic materials. Waste and residual materials must be disposed in accordance with hazardous chemical management regulations to prevent pollution to water body and soil environment.
