Applications
2-Amino-5-bromonicotinic acid is a high-value substituted nicotinic acid pyridine intermediate containing amino, bromo and carboxyl groups. It can participate in esterification, amidation, decarboxylation, nucleophilic substitution and Suzuki coupling reactions. It is widely used as key building block for antitumor, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and nervous system drug intermediates, as well as kinase inhibitors and targeted small molecule drug synthesis. It is also applied in medicinal chemistry SAR research, custom organic synthesis and new pesticide fungicide and herbicide molecular development.
Safety Information
Irritating to skin, eyes and respiratory tract. Inhalation of dust may cause throat discomfort, cough and respiratory mucosal irritation; direct eye contact leads to stinging, redness and congestion. Avoid dust inhalation and prolonged skin contact. All operations should be performed in a fume hood with nitrile gloves, safety goggles and dust mask. Keep away from high temperature, open flame and strong oxidants. Store sealed in dry dark environment. Waste and packaging materials shall be disposed strictly in accordance with hazardous chemical regulations to prevent water and soil pollution.
