Applications
4-Chloro-7-methylquinazoline is a key methyl-substituted quinazoline heterocyclic intermediate. The 4-position chlorine has high chemical activity, easily participating in nucleophilic substitution, amination and coupling reactions. It is widely used as core building block for tyrosine kinase inhibitors, antitumor targeted drugs, anti-inflammatory and central nervous system pharmaceutical intermediates. It is also applied in medicinal chemistry structure-activity relationship research, custom organic synthesis and development of new agrochemical fungicides and fine chemical derivatives.
