Applications
6-Bromo-4-chloro-7-methylquinazoline is a high-value trisubstituted quinazoline heterocyclic intermediate. The 4-position chlorine and 6-position bromine both have high reaction activity, enabling nucleophilic substitution, amination, Suzuki coupling and condensation derivatization. It is an indispensable core building block for the synthesis of tyrosine kinase inhibitors, antitumor targeted drugs, anti-inflammatory and central nervous system pharmaceutical intermediates. It is also widely used in medicinal chemistry structure-activity relationship screening, customized fine chemical synthesis, and research & development of new pesticide fungicides and organic electronic material intermediates.
Safety Information
Irritating to skin, eyes and respiratory tract. Inhalation of dust may cause throat discomfort, dry cough and respiratory mucosal irritation; direct eye contact leads to stinging, redness and conjunctival congestion. Prolonged skin contact may cause dryness, itching and allergic inflammation. Avoid dust inhalation, long-term skin contact and eye exposure. All operations must be performed in a fume hood with nitrile gloves, safety goggles and dust mask. Keep away from high temperature, open flame and strong oxidants. Store sealed in dry, dark and ventilated environment. Waste residues and packaging materials shall be disposed strictly in accordance with hazardous chemical regulations to prevent water and soil pollution.
