Applications
2-Amino-5-chloropyrimidine is a classic disubstituted pyrimidine heterocyclic intermediate with amino and chlorine functional groups on the pyrimidine ring. It possesses good chemical reactivity and can undergo diazotization, nucleophilic substitution, amination, coupling and condensation derivatization reactions. It is widely used as core building block for antiviral, antitumor, antibacterial and cardiovascular pharmaceutical intermediates, kinase inhibitor fragments and targeted small molecule drug synthesis.
