Applications
2-Amino-5-bromo-3-methylpyridine is a trisubstituted pyridine heterocyclic intermediate with amino, bromo and methyl groups on the pyridine ring. It has high synthetic reactivity for nucleophilic substitution, Suzuki coupling, Buchwald amination and derivatization reactions. Widely used as key building block for anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory, CNS pharmaceutical intermediates, kinase inhibitor fragments and targeted small molecule drugs; also used in medicinal chemistry SAR research, custom fine chemical synthesis and pesticide intermediate development.
