Applications
2-Amino-3-methylpyridine is a disubstituted pyridine heterocyclic intermediate. It can undergo diazotization, nucleophilic substitution, coupling and condensation derivatization reactions. Widely used as key building block for antitumor, anti-inflammatory, central nervous system pharmaceutical intermediates, kinase inhibitor synthesis; also applied in medicinal chemistry structure-activity relationship research, custom fine chemical synthesis and agrochemical intermediate development.
