Main Uses
This compound is an important aromatic amine ester intermediate widely used in pharmaceutical synthesis, fine chemical research and organic material preparation. It contains both amino methyl and ethyl ester functional groups on the benzene ring, enabling diversified derivatization reactions such as amidation, condensation, substitution and reduction. It is a key raw material for the synthesis of anti-inflammatory drugs, antitumor intermediates, central nervous system drug candidates and heterocyclic compounds. In organic synthesis, it is commonly applied to construct various functional benzene derivatives and used as a raw material for chiral ligand synthesis and peptide coupling building blocks. It also serves as a standard reagent for laboratory synthetic process development, chromatographic reference substance and intermediate for new pesticide and cosmetic functional molecule synthesis.
Safety Information
This chemical is a common aromatic intermediate with mild irritating properties to human body. Direct skin contact may cause slight redness, dryness and itching discomfort, especially for sensitive skin groups. Eye contact will lead to obvious stinging, tearing and conjunctival irritation, which needs immediate flushing with plenty of clean running water. Inhalation of fine dust or volatile vapor may irritate respiratory mucosa, causing throat dryness, cough and slight chest discomfort. Accidental oral intake may induce mild gastrointestinal reactions such as nausea and abdominal distension. During handling and weighing, operators should wear chemical resistant gloves, protective goggles and dust mask, and keep the working environment well ventilated. Store in tightly sealed, dry, cool and dark place, keep away from strong oxidants, strong acids and heat sources. Waste residue and waste liquid shall be disposed of in accordance with hazardous chemical regulations, and random discharge into water body and soil is prohibited to prevent environmental pollution
