White to pale yellow crystalline powder, no obvious odor, slightly soluble in water and ethanol, soluble in alkaline and acidic solutions, decomposes at 300°C, slightly light-sensitive.
2. Chemical Properties
A purine derivative formed by fusion of a pyrimidine ring and an imidazole ring; stable under normal storage conditions, decomposes when heated, and is an intermediate in purine metabolism that converts to uric acid under xanthine oxidase action.
