It usually appears as a white to off-white crystalline powder, and is widely used as an important intermediate in peptide synthesis, pharmaceutical R&D and organic synthesis fields, playing a key role in the preparation of bioactive peptides and pharmaceutical molecules.
1. Physical Properties
White to off-white crystalline powder; melting point 85-90 °C; optical rotation +15° to +20° (c=1, MeOH); soluble in organic solvents such as methanol, ethanol and DMSO, slightly soluble in water; stable under normal cool and dry conditions.

As a derivative of D-allo-isoleucine with a Boc protecting group and N-methyl substitution, it is stable under recommended storage conditions.
