Applications
- Dye industry: Mainly used as dispersant for disperse dyes, vat dyes, active dyes and acid dyes, with excellent grinding effect and dispersing power, which can make dyes more bright and uniform in coloring.
- Construction industry: Used as high-efficiency water-reducing agent for concrete, which can reduce water demand, improve concrete fluidity and strength, and is widely used in highways, bridges, dams and other projects.
- Textile industry: Used as dispersant in textile printing and dyeing, which can prevent dye particles from agglomerating, and is suitable for dyeing of silk/wool interwoven fabrics to avoid dyeing on silk.
- Other industrial fields: Used as stabilizer in rubber industry, auxiliary tanning agent in leather industry, dispersant in papermaking, pesticide and carbon black industry; also used as water treatment agent and oil drilling additive.
- Fine chemical field: Used as raw material for compound admixtures such as pumping agent and retarding superplasticizer, and can be matched with expansion agents and fly ash to improve product performance.
Storage & Handling
- Storage: Store in a sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse; protect from sunlight, heat, and moisture; keep away from cationic substances, strong oxidants and food, and avoid mixed storage.
- Temperature: Room temperature (≤30 °C) for long-term storage; avoid high temperatures and rapid temperature changes; shelf life 12 months under proper storage conditions.
- Packaging: Sealed plastic drum or woven bag with inner plastic lining (25kg/650kg), moisture-proof and sealed to prevent moisture absorption and caking; small packages can use sealed aluminum foil bags.
- Precautions: Operate in a well-ventilated environment; avoid inhaling dust and direct skin/eye contact; wear protective gloves, goggles and dust mask during operation; rinse with plenty of clean water immediately if contacted accidentally; dispose of waste in accordance with industrial waste regulations; light load and light unload during transportation to avoid package damage.
Description
Sodium salt of polynaphthalene sulphonic acid (CAS: 36290-04-7), also known as Dispersant NNO, is an aromatic sulfonate polymer with the chemical formula (C??H?O?S·CH?O)?·?Na and average molecular weight 472.44. It is a light brown to brownish-yellow powder (solid content ≥96.0%), hygroscopic, neutral to weakly alkaline, and has excellent dispersibility and thermal stability. It is prepared by sulfonation of naphthalene, condensation with formaldehyde, and neutralization reaction. It is widely used in dye, construction, textile and other fields as dispersant, water-reducing agent and stabilizer. Store in a cool, dry, sealed environment to prevent moisture absorption and caking, and ensure product stability and usability.
