Description
Coconut oil monoethanolamide (CAS: 68140-00-1, CMEA) is a fatty acid amide surfactant (C??H??NO?, MW 243.39), white to light yellow flake solid (purity ≥96.0% HPLC), slightly hygroscopic and weakly alkaline. Prepared by amidation of coconut oil fatty acids and monoethanolamine, it has excellent thickening and emulsifying properties, widely used in daily chemical, cleaning and cosmetics fields. It is biodegradable and low-toxic; store sealed in cool dry place to prevent sticking.
