Description
Citronella oil (CAS: 8000-29-1) is a natural essential oil with the molecular formula C??H??O and average molecular weight 154.25. It is a pale yellow to yellow clear liquid (purity ≥95.0% GC) with strong citrus-grass aroma, mainly extracted from Cymbopogon species by steam distillation. It is widely used in fragrance, insect repellent and chemical synthesis fields, with insect repellent, antimicrobial and aromatic properties.
