Storage & Handling
- Storage: Sealed, cool, dry and dark; away from sunlight, heat and oxidants; avoid polymerization caused by light and heat; keep away from open fire and high temperature sources.
- Temperature: 2-30 °C for long-term storage; refrigerated storage is recommended; shelf life 12 months under proper storage conditions; use as soon as possible after opening.
- Packaging: Sealed glass bottle or plastic drum (25kg/50kg); small packages adopt sealed aluminum foil bags, avoiding contact with air and light; marked with stabilizer content.
- Precautions: Operate in a well-ventilated environment; avoid inhalation of vapor and direct skin/eye contact; wear protective gloves, goggles and masks during operation; rinse with plenty of water immediately if contacted accidentally; dispose of waste in accordance with industrial waste regulations; avoid mixing with strong oxidants and initiators.
Description
4-Acryloylmorpholine (CAS: 5117-12-4), also known as ACMO, is a monofunctional UV-curable monomer with the molecular formula C?H??NO? and average molecular weight 141.17. It is a colorless to almost colorless clear liquid (purity ≥98.0% GC), usually stabilized with MEHQ to prevent polymerization. It has good solubility in water and most organic solvents, and is easy to undergo polymerization reaction under UV irradiation or thermal initiation. It is widely used in UV curing, polymer synthesis, pharmaceutical and coating fields. It has certain irritation, so it should be stored in a sealed, cool and dark environment to prevent polymerization, ensuring product stability and usability.
