Appearance
White or off-white crystalline powder, odorless, with fine and uniform particle size and no visible impurities. It has good fluidity under dry conditions, is not easy to agglomerate, and has a slight luster under natural light. It is stable in appearance under normal storage conditions without discoloration or deterioration.
Physical Properties
Melting point: 223-225°C, decomposes slightly when heated above the melting point, and decomposes completely at high temperature to produce irritant fumes.
Boiling point: No definite boiling point; it decomposes gradually when heated to above 250°C, and the decomposition rate accelerates with the increase of temperature, accompanied by the release of nitrogen-containing and oxygen-containing fumes.
Density: 1.32 g/cm3 (25°C, solid state), with stable density under normal temperature and pressure, and no obvious change with environmental humidity.
Solubility: Soluble in water (44 mg/mL at 25°C), slightly soluble in ethanol and acetone, insoluble in chloroform, benzene and other non-polar organic solvents; solubility in water increases slightly with the increase of temperature, and the aqueous solution is weakly alkaline (pH 8.0-9.5).
Hardness: Brittle, easy to grind into fine powder, no ductility or toughness, and the powder is easy to disperse in water.
Chemical Properties
1. Basicity: As a sodium salt of organic acid, its aqueous solution is weakly alkaline, which can react with strong acids to form ozagrel free acid, and the reaction is mild and non-volatile.
2. Decomposition: It is stable at room temperature and normal pressure, but decomposes when heated to high temperature; it decomposes into organic amines and carbon dioxide when heated to 250-300°C, and produces irritant fumes during decomposition.
3. Oxidation-reduction: It has certain reducing properties, is not easy to be oxidized by common oxidants, but can be oxidized by strong oxidants (such as potassium permanganate) to form corresponding oxides.
4. Stability: It is stable in dry air, not easy to absorb moisture, but it is easy to absorb moisture and agglomerate in humid environment, but does not undergo chemical changes; it does not react with common organic solvents and inorganic salts, and has good chemical stability.
Usage
1. Pharmaceutical field: It is an important antiplatelet drug, which acts as a thromboxane A2 synthesis inhibitor, and is mainly used to improve cerebral vasospasm and cerebral ischemia symptoms after subarachnoid hemorrhage surgery, and improve motor disorders associated with acute cerebral thrombosis.
2. Biochemical reagent field: It is used as a standard reagent and analytical reagent in biochemical experiments, such as the research on platelet metabolism pathway, the screening of thromboxane synthesis enzyme inhibitors, and the detection of related drug content.
3. Research field: It is widely used in medical and biological research, such as the research on the mechanism of cerebral ischemia and cerebral thrombosis, and the development of related drugs; it is for research use only and not for human or veterinary use.

Storage
Store in a sealed container, protect from light and keep in a cool and dry place; powder can be stored at -20°C for 3 years, 4°C for 2 years; if dissolved in solvent, store at -80°C for 6 months or -20°C for 1 month to avoid deterioration.
