Basic Properties
White to almost white crystalline powder, uniform texture, no visible impurities, with good crystallinity. Poor water solubility (3 g/L at 25°C), easily soluble in organic solvents such as chloroform and methanol. It is a stable but highly active triazine derivative, commonly used as a peptide coupling reagent, with high reaction efficiency and good selectivity.
Chemical Properties
Stable under normal temperature and pressure, suitable for storage in inert atmosphere; slightly hygroscopic, easy to absorb moisture and agglomerate if not sealed properly. The chloro group in the molecule is active, can undergo substitution reaction, and is mainly used for activating carboxyl groups in peptide synthesis; incompatible with strong oxidants and strong alkaline substances, which may cause partial decomposition.

Storage
Store in sealed containers under inert atmosphere, in a dry, dark and cool environment (recommended <15°C or room temperature for short-term storage). Keep away from sunlight, heat and moisture, and avoid contact with air to prevent hygroscopicity. Unopened shelf life: 2 years; seal immediately after opening and use as soon as possible.
