Uses
Diphenyl disulfide is a versatile organic sulfur compound, mainly used as a pharmaceutical intermediate in the synthesis of anti-HIV drugs (e.g., Nelfinavir) and other bioactive molecules. It serves as a key reagent for introducing phenylthio groups in organic synthesis, acting as a catalyst for photoisomerization of alkenes and a vulcanization accelerator in the rubber industry. It is also applied in organic photoelectric material modification, lithium battery additives, and as a laboratory reagent for radical reaction research.
Packaging & Storage
Packaging: 25g/100g/500g glass bottles (laboratory), 1kg/25kg fiber drums (bulk), all labeled clearly with GHS hazard information and product details. Storage: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area (15–25℃), tightly sealed, protected from light and moisture; shelf life 12 months. Keep away from oxidants, heat sources, and open flames; use in fume hoods with appropriate protective equipment during handling.
