Uses
Glabridin (CAS 59870-68-7) is a rare isoflavanoid extracted from the roots of Glycyrrhiza glabra L., with high safety and multiple biological activities, widely used in cosmetics, medicine, food and other fields. In cosmetics, it acts as a core whitening and brightening agent, inhibiting melanin production and tyrosinase activity, reducing pigmentation and freckles; it also has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antioxidant effects, soothing sensitive skin, improving redness and acne, and enhancing skin elasticity and anti-aging ability, often added to creams, essences, masks and lotions. In medicine, it is used as an auxiliary raw material for anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antioxidant and anti-tumor drugs, helping to treat skin inflammation, acne, cardiovascular diseases and osteoporosis, and has a protective effect on nerves and liver. In the food industry, it serves as a natural antioxidant and preservative, extending the shelf life of food and improving food safety. In addition, it can be used as a research reagent for studying PPARγ activation, fatty acid oxidation and other biological processes.
Packaging & Storage
Packaging: Laboratory grade: 10g, 50g, 100g sealed brown glass bottles to prevent light, moisture and oxidation; industrial grade: 1kg, 5kg, 25kg aluminum foil bags or HDPE drums with inner PE liners, labeled with product name, CAS number, batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date, purity and storage precautions. Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark and well-ventilated warehouse at 2-8°C; keep tightly sealed to prevent moisture absorption, oxidation and contamination; avoid strong light, high temperature and humid environment; do not mix with toxic, harmful and oxidizing substances. Shelf life: 24 months under recommended sealed storage conditions; use as soon as possible after opening to avoid deterioration. Transportation: Avoid transportation under high temperature, strong light and rain; use ice packs for low-temperature transportation in summer; prevent collision and damage to packaging; do not transport together with incompatible substances. Handling: Operate in a well-ventilated area; avoid inhalation of powder and contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes; wear dust-proof gloves, goggles and protective clothing during operation; wash skin thoroughly with soap and water after contact; if splashed into eyes, rinse with plenty of flowing water for 10-15 minutes and seek medical help in time.
