Main Uses

• Pharmaceutical Field: As an important pharmaceutical intermediate, it is a key raw material for synthesizing 3-N,N-dimethylaminoacrylic acid ethyl ester, which is further used in the production of quinolone antibiotics (broad-spectrum, high-efficiency antibacterial drugs widely used in clinical practice). It can also be used in the synthesis of other pharmaceutical intermediates and biologically active compounds.
• Organic Synthesis Field: Important building block for organic synthesis reactions, used in the preparation of downstream derivatives such as ethyl 2-formylpropionate. It can undergo condensation, substitution and other reactions under appropriate conditions, and is widely used in the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds and fine chemicals.
• Other Fields: Used as an intermediate in the synthesis of fine chemicals, and can be used to prepare organic compounds such as 2-chloropyrimidine-5-carboxylic acid ethyl ester under specific reaction conditions.
