Main Uses

Cosmetic & Personal Care Field: Used as a high-efficiency broad-spectrum preservative, added to shampoos, lotions, creams, sunscreens, baby products and cleaning products to inhibit the growth of bacteria, fungi and algae; the maximum allowable concentration in cosmetics is 0.01% in line with national and international standards
Industrial Field: Used as a bactericide and preservative in industrial circulating water, oilfield reinjection water, papermaking, coatings, paints, leather and ink industries; it has a strong killing and inhibiting effect on slime bacteria and sulfate-reducing bacteria, and has good compatibility with surfactants
Research & Other Fields: Used as an analytical standard and biochemical reagent for HPLC and GC detection; applied in laboratory research on antimicrobial mechanisms and the development of preservative products; also used in wallpaper adhesives and non-formalin products
