Main Uses

• Biochemical & Research Field: As a key intermediate of the Krebs cycle (tricarboxylic acid cycle), it is used to study cellular energy metabolism, enzyme kinetics and metabolic pathway analysis; serves as a reversible inhibitor of tyrosinase (IC50=15 mM) and a co-substrate of 2-oxoglutarate-dependent dioxygenases; used as a biochemical reagent and reference substance for laboratory research.
• Pharmaceutical & Intermediate Field: As a pharmaceutical intermediate for the synthesis of complex drug molecules; used in the preparation of reagents for liver function testing; has anti-cyanide effect, and can improve anti-cyanide ability when used in combination with sodium nitrite and sodium thiosulfate; helps reduce the body consumption of postoperative patients and long-term patients.
