Pharmaceutical: Core API of antineoplastic drugs, sold under the brand name Velcade®; clinically used for the treatment of multiple myeloma (can be combined with melphalan and prednisone for untreated patients, or used alone for relapsed patients) and relapsed/refractory mantle cell lymphoma; acts as a highly selective reversible inhibitor of 26S proteasome, inhibiting cancer cell proliferation and promoting apoptosis.
