Physical Properties
- Appearance: White or light beige amorphous powder, no odor
- Solubility: Insoluble in water, alcohol, aliphatic hydrocarbons; soluble in tetrahydrofuran (THF), cyclohexanone, dichloromethane, dimethylformamide; swells in ketones, esters
- Density: 1.35–1.45 g/cm3
- Glass transition temperature Tg: 75–85 ℃

- Flame retardancy: Self-extinguishing, low flammability

Chemical Properties
- Molecular structure: Linear polymer formed by vinyl chloride monomer addition polymerization, contains a large number of polar C-Cl bonds
- Thermal decomposition characteristic: Starts to decompose above 140 ℃, releases hydrogen chloride gas, turns yellow and then black; must add heat stabilizer during processing
- Acid and alkali resistance: Excellent resistance to dilute acid, dilute alkali, salt solution; resistant to most inorganic corrosive media
- Organic solvent resistance: Resistant to oil, gasoline; long-term contact with strong polar solvents will swell or dissolve
- Plasticization performance: Can mix with plasticizers (DOP, DOTP) to produce soft flexible PVC products
- Crosslinking property: Can be crosslinked by radiation or chemical crosslinkers to improve heat resistance and mechanical strength
- Photochemical aging: C-Cl bond breaks under ultraviolet light, free radical chain reaction occurs, leading to discoloration and performance degradation
- Compatibility: Compatible with plasticizers, stabilizers, fillers, pigments; incompatible with strong polar solvents, concentrated strong oxidants

- Industrial rigid parts: Chemical corrosion-resistant storage tanks, pipeline fittings, acid and alkali resistant equipment shells
- Packaging materials: Transparent hard sheet, blister packaging, mineral water bottle caps, food packaging boxes
2. Soft Plasticized PVC Products
- Wire and cable insulation layer: Excellent insulation, low cost, widely used in power lines, electronic wiring
- Soft film: Agricultural mulch film, packaging film, medical disposable infusion tube, glove raw material
- Leather artificial leather: Sofa leather, shoe upper leather, luggage leather, waterproof fabric
- Hose and sealing parts: Water pipe, gas pipe, rubber sealing strip, shock absorption cushion
