Physical Properties
- Appearance: Amber to dark brown viscous oily liquid
- Odor: Faint characteristic oil odor
- Solubility: Miscible with water to form stable emulsion; soluble in ethanol, glycol solvents; slightly soluble in mineral oil

- pH Value (1% aqueous solution): 6.0–8.0, weak neutral
- Viscosity: High viscosity, good spreading and wetting ability
- Hygroscopy: Strong hygroscopicity, easily absorbs water vapor in air

Chemical Properties
- Molecular structure: Castor oil ricinoleic acid triglyceride modified by sulfonation, contains hydrophilic sulfonate group and lipophilic long alkyl chain
- Anionic surfactant characteristic: Dissociates sulfonate anion in water, has wetting, emulsifying, dispersing, lubricating properties
- Acid-base stability: Stable under neutral and weak alkaline conditions; precipitates layered when encountering strong acid, high concentration of calcium/magnesium heavy metal ions
- Hydrolysis performance: Long-term boiling in aqueous solution will slowly hydrolyze to release fatty acid and sulfate
- Thermal stability: Stable below 100℃; long-term heating above 120℃ easy to darken and decompose
- Compatibility: Compatible with nonionic surfactants, weak cationic additives; incompatible with strong acid, hard water metal ions, strong cationic surfactants
- Lubricity: Long fatty carbon chain provides excellent lubrication and softening effect

- Leveling agent & solubilizer for acid dyes, disperse dyes; improve dye solubility, uniform coloring, prevent color spot
- Fiber softener for wool, silk, nylon; soften fabric, enhance hand feel, eliminate static electricity
- Emulsifier for textile printing paste, improve paste fluidity and penetration
- Degreasing auxiliary for raw silk, wool scouring
2. Leather Processing Auxiliary
- Leather fatliquoring agent: Penetrate leather fiber, make leather soft, plump, flexible, prevent hardening and cracking
- Leather dye leveling agent, improve color uniformity of leather surface
