- Solubility: Soluble in chloroform, dichloromethane, acetone, toluene; slightly soluble in ethanol; insoluble in water, hexane
- Melting Point: Decomposes at ~205 ℃ without clear melting point

Chemical Properties
- Structure: Trimeric palladium carboxylate complex, bridging acetate ligands linking three Pd(II) centers
- Catalytic activity: Universal Pd(II) precatalyst for cross-coupling reactions
- Reduction property: Easily reduced to metallic Pd(0) by phosphines, alkenes, alcohols, hydride reagents
- Ligand exchange: Acetate groups readily displaced by phosphines, amines, halides, N-heterocyclic carbenes
- Hydrolysis: Contact with water slowly generates palladium oxide precipitate and acetic acid
- Thermal decomposition: Above 200 ℃ decomposes into Pd metal, CO?, acetone, acetic acid vapor
- Photostability: Darkens under prolonged light exposure; store light-proof
- Compatibility: Compatible with anhydrous organic solvents; incompatible with water, strong reducing agents, ammonia, strong alkali
