Chemical Properties

- Thermal stability: Ultra-high temperature resistance, no decomposition below 2000 ℃
- Adsorption performance: Porous γ-alumina has large specific surface area, can adsorb water, polar organic molecules, metal ions
- Inertness: Not oxidized, not easy to react with common organic solvents, neutral reagents
- Crystal transformation: Heating γ-Al2O3 above 1200 ℃ transforms into stable α-Al2O3
- Compatibility: Compatible with most inorganic fillers, ceramic raw materials; reacts with concentrated acid/alkali under heating
