Chemical Properties
- Molecular structure: Linear silicone polymer with abundant Si-H active hydrogen groups on side chains
- Hydrosilylation reaction: Si-H undergoes addition reaction with carbon-carbon double bond under Pt catalyst, core crosslinking reaction for silicone coating
- Hydrolysis: Slow hydrolysis in neutral water; rapidly releases hydrogen gas under alkaline condition
- Crosslinking curing: React with hydroxyl, vinyl silicone to form waterproof silicone film at room temperature/high temperature
- Oxidation stability: Excellent heat resistance, stable below 180 ℃; high temperature above 250 ℃ slight oxidation
- Reducibility: Weak reducing property, can reduce metal oxide on metal surface
- Compatibility: Compatible with all silicone raw materials, hydrocarbon solvents; strictly avoid alkaline substances, strong oxidants
