- Oxidation property: Oxidized to corresponding aldehyde or carboxylic acid under oxidizing agents
- Etherification: Generates ether products with alcohols under acidic catalyst
- Thermal stability: Stable under normal temperature; slight cracking occurs above 260 °C
- Photostability: Slightly yellowed after long-term strong light irradiation
- Compatibility: Compatible with most resins, oils and organic solvents; incompatible with strong oxidants, concentrated strong acids
