- Photolysis characteristic: Extremely light-sensitive; UV/visible light rapidly decomposes the corrin ring, solution fades from red to pale pink
- Thermal stability: Stable below 80 ℃; high-temperature sterilization, boiling under alkaline environment severely deactivates vitamin B12
